  • no exercise required
  • eat whatever you want
  • just take this magical supplement
  • use this special machine

Falling into one or more of these traps will only lead to frustration, not weight loss. This results in a cycle of failure that ultimately causes many to give up.

  • You can do it. Others have done it. If others can do it, there is no reason you can’t.

  • You can do it, SLOWLY. Nobody loses weight quickly and keeps it off. Fast weight loss is water loss and the weight always comes back.

  • You can do it, EATING BREAKFAST EVERYDAY. Research has shown that people who skip breakfast gain weight. It really is that simple. Eating breakfast will help you reach your weight loss goals. Skipping breakfast might seem like a good idea at the time but it will doom your plan to lose weight.

  • You can do it with MODERATE EXERCISE. You don’t have to run a marathon to lose weight. Studies have shown the effectiveness of moderate exercise performed 3-5 times per week will take the pounds off and keep them off.

  • You can do it by eating SEVERAL SMALL MEALS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. Skipping meals and eating one or two huge meals each day is the fast track to gaining belly fat. Your health and wellness is enhanced when you eat small meals every 3-4 hours.

  • You can do it with REASONABLE GOALS. Be realistic. When you plan on losing 20 lbs. in two weeks, you are planning to fail. Allow for no more than 2 lbs. of fat loss per week.

  • You can do it with a SUPPORT SYSTEM. Enlist the help of others. Let others know that you are trying to lose weight. Ask them to help you. Ask someone to hold you accountable.
